During the last few weeks i have been handing out apples as part of riddles/quizzes etc... |
There are 5 in total and all have been handed out.
So you ask what is the use? Well next sunday 20/07/08 i will re-deem these apples for a place in a quiz. The questions will all be UO based, general knowledge and specific Defiance based questions. More information to come at a later date on forums.

Hear Ye! Hear Ye! This Weeks Defiance News. |
First off, we had a very entertaining Super Sunday.
Started of with Seer Qwert initiating faction fights, which lasted well through the day. All four factions were involved and many slain across Briatin.
Next we had the battleground event won by VOE
Miss Defiance 2008 was also hosted by Ancient Seer Alfa, results were:
1, Khat 38
2, Miss Ecko Ltd 35
3, Muslim 27
Miss Khat won, congratulations.
Also CTF\'s Mob-Bashes and tournaments throughout the day.
Looking forward to another exciting week ahead for Defiance!

AOS Recent Updates

There have been great updates recently, the AOS is growing again! |
Thanks to Dev Kamron, the AOS shard has been successfully updated to RunUO 2.0 RC 2. All scripts have been revised and updated for better performance. Besides, a lot of custom features have been implemented or changed.
* Faster skillgain. Power Hour!
* Better loot from monsters and dungeon chests. Increased intensity when crafting with runic tools.
* Each new character receives 7x50 skillballs to train skills easily.
* Artifact chance from the Dark Father increased to 10%. No more boring endless loops in the Gauntlet with no reward!
* Hunter BODs with improved rewards.
* New custom artifacts and rares.
* Unique custom ruleset of the Lost Lands - no insurance and separate economy there.

We have a winner!

This sunday we had two 12 rolls after a CTF and a Counterstrike, also had winners of the CTFL rewarded! |
After a long Sunday full of prizes and events, we had the DOPL ranked tournaments, Mob Bashes, Bomberman, DFI lottery, A skillball handout, CTFL4 Prize ceremony and CTFL4 Memorial Public match and many other events throughout the day. At 2am we had our first 12 roller Urban Legend after the next event we had another UOholic. These two remained the only two to hit 12 after the events were done. Thus they had a dice-off mid-afternoon today in which UOholic took it 3-1 and is now the proud owner of the keep!
CTFL 4 – Prize ceremony
The season ended with Fwd winning the playoffs, Fag in second place and CtF coming third.
Individual prizes were:
Rookie of the year: Ted Hehe (fag)
Defender of the year: We are Cybering (fwd)
Middleman of the year: Lolatu (fwd)
Most improved player: Dirk Diggler (fwd)
Waller of the year: Andy (fwd)
Flagger of the year: Ted Hehe (fag)
MVP: Zach Braff (fwd)

Also to Bubblegum, Phoenix, Muslim, Hugh Hefner and Jacker for keeping their teams going throughout the whole season!
