Large Patch.

A large patch directed at PVP has been added today, which was the reason the server was taken down for 3hours. |
The patch includes:
Stattloss reduced from 15-18% max, till 11% max.
Shortterm and Longterm timers made OSI correct (8 and 40 hours).
Bountyboard for Playerkilling added.
Bounty system for people to put gold on a murderers head added.
Faction monitoring system added.
Stamina system added.
Severel weapons being nerfed or boosted to an appropiate level.

Launch Realized!

One word: Breathetaking !
The vast amount of players joining our new shard Defiance: T2A, is a proof of the high expectations people have for Defiance Servers. |
And we are not shy to say that we believe we live up to them!
Launch with more than a hundred players online from first minute, and nearly two hundred online a few minutes after the initial first problems, that always come when opening a grand new server had been solved quickly by Dev Jakob!
Was a great laugh to see tons of people struggeling to get started and seeing a hundred people invading the nearby Britain Graveyards, taking on zombies and skeletons, with some trouble.
Present time is 2:25am, and things has calmed down, people are mostly asleep and macroing, given our European playerbase majority.
Yet theres still more than a hundred connected, and many of whom you can find someplace right now, fighting a critter, as I did below:
Two people, working their skills and trading armor pieces as they try to collect a full set of bone armor.
Would you care to trade sir?

Defiance T2A Launch

There is little we have looked forward to as much as this, and we are sure that a lot of you feel the same. |
Tomorrow, Sunday the 22nd May at 6 PM GMT, a new shard will appear on the shard list and it will be called Defiance T2A.
This new shard will contain a lot of the features that you miss and a lot of features that you don't realize that you miss, but that you will recognize.
It is finally time to open the gates and let the masses in.
Opening time in some different time zones:
EST 1PM
GMT 6PM
CET 7PM
In connection to this launch we have also released the Defiance Client Launcher. It will keep you up-to-date with our news and let you patch your client and log onto Defiance with just a couple of mouse clicks. Hey, it even supports Razor! Download it here.

Defiance: AOS is now a reality.
Today and for the next 24hours new players starting AOS will be able to get a free 7x 90.0 skill character. |
Further more, there will be a skillball handout at a random time today the 4th of May, to everyone online at the time.
AOS is now part of the global account system, and is a permanent server.
Its located in the UK, thus we spent a fortune putting it there, and we hope it will grow over time and support itself as the UOR shard.

Patch.

We have been busy & Jakob has put much effort into this.
We are now the first Freeshard with an OSI/EA Account System.
We have also added a Capture the Flag top20 Board. |
The idea with the system is ofcourse to bring alot more value into your personal accounts and at the sametime tie them to our soon opening shards (AOS & T2A).
Equal to when/if you played OSI/EA Ultima Online, you will remember once you setup your account that account was your gateway to play any and all OSI/EA shards you wanted to, you could log on your account and pick a shard off the shardlist to login and play.
We have now developed this Acct system and are proud to be the first on the market with it.
Over the next days we will be monitoring its performance, and if there are no unforseen problems, we will be opening the \"account management\" feature on this homepage, allowing you to change account infos from our web.
As a result, we have also disabled ingame password changing systems.
Capture the Flag top20 board will be displayed in public in a few weeks & then it will always be there to check daily same as the \"Faction top20\", but already from this day and forth it will be recording your:
FlagReturns & FlagCaptures.
