This is what happened on October 30, 2005 [UOR]:
This super sunday on the UOR shard we put all events in the mood of halloween as it was just 1 day before halloween.
In this report I will tell you about the maze we had and who were the fastest people.
The players were given a notice that somewhere in Britain`s graveyard a gate would take them to a spooky maze.
The first part of the maze was a visible normal maze but it was quite big as it took atleast 5 minutes before the first person actually made it to the end of the first level. Even worse,
not so many people found the exit to level 2 after all, maybe we need to make it easier next time as this supposed to be the `easiest` part of the maze. Anyhow here we see a few persons try
and find the exit of level 1.
Here are some more players trying their best to beat the maze.
Ahhh, a few persons made it to the center of the maze.
Here I have to skip abit in the story as the screenshots of level 2,3,4 of the maze were lost due to a technical problem.. (Okay I accidently deleted them myself.. *cry*)
Level 2 of the maze was a teleporter maze which consisted out of 40 or so teleporters and the players had to walk the right combination of teleporters.
Level 3 of the maze was a small forest maze which had hidden teleporters in it that would kick the players back out of the maze, somewhat as the 'haunted village teleporter house' earlier this month.
Level 4 of the maze was my favorite as it was an invisible maze with invisible walls. GM Alex made a fake exit in it too to mislead players and boy did that work. Alot of you were trying to exit the maze via the fake (read: unreachable) exit, however a few of you actually read the signs and tried looking for an alternative exit, the first to do this was:
This was Kelba, he won the first prize (named statue, black savage skin paint and a skillball). It took a few minutes before the second person reached the exit and this was:
Womb was the second person to beat the maze and he got the same prizes as Kelba. Not long after this we saw the third person:
Andy was the third person to beat the maze and he also got the same prizes. As you can see on the screenshot we were still dealing with Womb so this was really a close finish on the numbers 2 and 3.
I hope you guys enjoyed this event, I have to give credits to the person who made it. Thanks GM Alex for this nice event.
PS. Why do the 3 fastest players have such short names? Does it lag less when you have a short name? Coincidence? You tell me.
