Hear ye! Hear ye! Hear ye!

This morn it was announced that a tourny would take place! Those of valiant aim were beseiged to gather a following of seven and take place in a grand stage of combat in a eight on eight melee! The call was answered and as only your humble servant can, I gathered what I could of the event with mine own eye!

The teams were divided upon color, those being black, purple, blue, and green! Each time was ordered upon a marker and asked to wait until such a time that a wall dropped and they were allowed to engage one another.

The first two teams to meet one another were Black and Blue. Despite a miscommunication and a prempetive brawl, the fight went under way with out much trouble. It was a frantic melee of magic and weapons, as the two teams tore one another down, but ultimately Blue would succeed and move onto the next round!

The next fight saw that of Green and Purple mixing it up. The wall would drop and both would tear into one another. It was clear from the crowd reaction that the heavy favorite in this orgy of carnage and blood was Purple. And they did not let their spectators down, perhaps drawing off the crowd and knocking Green out of the standings.

With that, we were at the finals, with the teams stacked as such!

The two teams stood off from one another, as the tension mounted within the noisy arena. A spell was fired, though unsure who started what, but soon a melee broke out the likes of which this bard had not seen. The two teams worked together to battle each other, and the fight was truely swung into favor of Purple. Surely enough, the fallen bodies of Blue would lay at their feet, and it had seemed as though there was a winner.

But then . . . controversy! Those in attendence would witness the mute rallying as the teams were lined up, and the contest was renewed. It became apparent that since the opening call to arms (a wall being dropped between the teams) had not occured, the former battle was nulled!

Again the war raged between the two teams, and it seemed as if Blue had learned from their mistakes. They systematically picked apart each member of Purple before leaving last poor An Mani to fend off if I recall six others. Blue won the day, and it was clear from my sight that there was grumblings from Purple camp.

All in all, the fighting was a pleasure to watch, as one would enjoy it not being in the center of all the spells whizzing about. Suffice to say all the teams fought well, and a congratulations are in order to both Purple and Blue for putting on a fantastic pair of matches.
